Olympic Weightlifting Workshop
Introducing our new Olympic Weightlifting Workshop starting on Sunday 7th November 2021 at 10:00. This 6 week course will be taught by our fitness instructor Callum.
Our Olympic Weightlifting course is dedicated to coaching you through the lifting techniques which make up the two lifts within the sport: The Snatch and the Clean and Jerk. During this course, you will learn the basic technique skills to perform both lifts safely and effectively, whilst gaining strength through accessory exercises such as squats, deadlifts, and shoulder presses. Olympic Weightlifting is an incredible feat of physical and mental strength and requires discipline, concentration, and dedication to master the lifts. We welcome all experience levels and encourage both men and women of all ages to join us in their Olympic Weightlifting journey!
