Headmaster to run Paris Marathon for charity

The Headmaster of The King’s School Canterbury is raising money for two worthy charities by taking on the Paris Marathon on Sunday 17th October.

Mr Roberts has decided to support Porchlight, a local homeless charity, and Alzheimer’s Research UK. His link with the latter is that his mother-in-law sadly suffered from Alzheimer’s.

The marathon has been postponed three times due to Covid, so it will be the end of a long journey when he finally crosses the finish line.

For more information on the work of both charities, watch this video on how Porchlight helped Ben, or this one on Hat’s story of living with Alzheimer’s.

If you wish to support the Headmaster, you can donate to his Just Giving Pages here and here. We are all wishing him the best of luck for Sunday!
