Level Crossing Closure at St Stephens Road
Please see below the details about the upgrade to the level crossing at St Stephens Road, Canterbury.
Monday 25th – Saturday 30th April (22:00-06:00) NIGHT CLOSURES ONLY
Please be aware that a diversion will be in place from 10:00 each night until 06:00.
Saturday 30th April – Monday 2nd May (06:00-06:00) COMPLETE WEEKEND ROAD CLOSURE
The level crossing will be closed to cars for the entirety of the weekend, with diversions in place. This may cause traffic within Canterbury and may increase your journey times. There will be pedestrian access over the level crossing during this time.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via St Stephens Road, St Stephen’s Hill, St Beaconsfield Road, Forty Acres Road, A290 Whitstable Road, St Dunstan’s Street, Station Road West, North Lane, St Stephen’s Road and vice versa.
The Centre is open according to our Opening Times, however we advise you allow extra time to travel.
