Coach Marv | GB over35 Team
Canterbury Kings Basketball Coach Marv coaches the FIMBA GB over 35 Basketball team, who recently competed in the XI FIMBA European Championships in Malaga.
FIMBA stands for the “Federation of Masters Basketball Association”, with Men’s competing in the age categories +35 – 75 and the women’s categories +30 – 60.
The tournament took place between the 24th June – 3rd July 2022, with teams from Hungry, Slovenia and Spain. Coach Marv’s team played consistently throughout the competition, coming away with a bronze medal.
