Fitness Studio Classes

Assisted Exercise Class

A whole body class aimed at improving function with the option to perform exercises either standing or seated. This class focuses on function, mobility and stamina and is particularly suitable for those wishing to maintaining function and improving independence. A very sociable group who can often be heard singing along during classes.

 

A-B-C (Agility – Balance – Conditioning)

This fun class is aimed at the over 50’s and incorporates traditional conditioning exercises, with a twist! Fundamental exercises, are complimented by exercises aimed at challenging balance and agility. You may find yourself standing on one leg whilst catching a ball! Great for falls prevention and for maintaining balance and coordination. This is a versatile class allowing individuals to work at their own level within timed elements whilst subtly adapting the challenge of the exercises to ensure progression on an individual basis.
