In-House Junior Squash Comp
Our annual In-House Junior Squash Competition was a great success, with 28 players, ranging from age 9-18yrs playing in grades A, B and C. Top quality matches throughout the afternoon and the top 3 in each grade ended up being as follows:
A Grade
1st | Josh Cutting
2nd | Jon Hart
3rd | Max Lithman
Josh beat Jon 2-0 in the A Grade Final (11-9 17-15).
Laurie Reeves had a tight match with Christiaan Starke 2-1 (11-6 9-11 11-7) in the 1st round.
James Donaldson had two tight matches, beating Phillip Chew 2-1 (10-12 11-9 11-7) in the 1st round of the plate and beating Laurie Reeves 2-1 (11-7 6-11 14-12) in the 2nd round of the plate.
Zac Rahman (King’s School no.1) beat Alex Carey (King’s School no.2) 2-1 (9-11 11-5 11-2).
B Grade

The B Grade final saw Luan beat Caspar 2-0 (11-8 11-8).
The pick of the matches was Lois Woods beating Ariana Lowther 2-1 (11-7 8-11 12-10) in the 1st round.
C Grade
1st | Jack Nielson
2nd | Kevin Wu
3rd | Angus Goddard
In the final Jack beat Kevin 2-1 (12-10 8-11 11-9).
Jack was involved in two tight matches, the final and his semi too, where he beat Angus 2-1 (15-13 8-11 11-8). Another close match was between Angus and Atticus Shaw, with Angus coming through again to win 2-1 (11-8 8-11 11-7).
Well done to all who competed! The competition worked really well combining the King’s School pupils with our Canterbury Kings Juniors that come here for coaching.
