Canterbury Kings Basketball U16s
On Saturday 1st February, the Canterbury Kings U16s Basketball Team played against the Kent Crusaders Basketball Club at The King’s School Recreation Centre.
The match started with a tribute to Kobe Bryant, as the 2 teams came together to show their respect and unite as one.
Both teams played amazingly and as always it was a close game. Canterbury Kings focus for this match was to execute the plays by getting into great opportunities to score baskets, which they achieved throughout. They stayed disciplined and focused over the 40 minutes of play and every player made an impact.
Canterbury Kings edged the game with a 53 – 47 win, making the overall matches 2 – 2.
