The class takes you through a varied cycle journey building endurance, speed and recovery powers whilst burning plenty of calories. These sessions last 45 minutes, you will need to bring a drink and a towel with you. (booking for this class is essential) Pilates – The Pilates method is an exercise system focused on improving flexibility and strength for the whole body without building bulk. Pilates can dramatically transform the way your body looks, feels and performs. It teaches body awareness, good posture and easy graceful movement, it can even alleviate back pain. Many of the exercises are performed in a reclining or sitting position and most are low impact and partially weight bearing. Pilates is run as a course. (booking for this course is essential) Personal Pilates (One to One Pilates Session with Sharon Steer) Our Personal Pilates Programmes are available to those seeking to strengthen individual postural weaknesses that create muscle imbalances and associated problems. To help improve skeletal strength or reduce further weakening. We are also able to help you achieve your goals of toning and helping to develop longer, leaner muscles. Suitable for all fitness levels, ages and gender. Yoga – Yoga is beneficial to everyone. Develop a supple, healthy body; create a relaxed powerful mind; fulfil your potential! Yoga includes relaxation exercises, breathing practices and stretching postures. This class is suitable for all levels of fitness and experience. We offer both 1 hour and 1 ½ hour classes. Bring a mat and blanket (optional) and wear loose clothing. Personal Training – Personal training consists of a free initial consultation followed by individual one hour sessions. The sessions can cover a complete programme or target specific areas based on your personal needs. We can also provide advice on diet and nutrition and have instructors qualified in sports injury treatment and rehabilitation. Senior Workouts - We run a series of fitness classes designed for the over 50’s. Denise is specially trained in the fitness requirements of this age group.

Aero Tone – Try our popular body conditioning class…. Follow the long aerobic warm up with resistance exercises using Body Bars and Xertubes. Suitable for all abilities you will not want to miss this class! Circuit Training – Everything you want in an exercise class. Warm up followed by approximately 30 minutes of cardiovascular stations combined with intense upper and lower body weight work. Cool down and stretch. Geared to Intermediate and Advanced exercisers. Workout in an adult free zone – Too young to workout in the gym by yourself and you are aged between 13 and 16 years old? Then why not come and join in with our 1 hour supervised workout. The session will focus on various exercises for a range of body areas including advice on diet and lifestyle. Chair workout – This 45 minute class is designed for those who struggle to walk unaided. The class involves movements based around a chair, mobility work, cardiovascular work and muscle strengthening. Ladies Only - These classes give a total body workout in the fitness suite and studio. Aerobic circuit and lower body conditioning using Cybex and free weight machines. For your safety and a most effective workout a Fitness Suite induction is required before attending the class. Boxercise - An energetic workout using a series of boxing and kickboxing based exercises. Incorporating medicine ball work, C.V. exercises, and pad work. This fantastic form of exercise will increase your cardiovascular fitness as well as your muscle tone and strength. Total Body conditioning - Take part in this fun and energetic class which combines both cardio-vascular and resistance training to achieve your goals. With a variety of aerobic based exercises to improve fitness levels, and with resistance and core training work to improve muscular strength and endurance, the overall effect will improve your body composition and conditioning. Fitball - Fitball is a new and exciting exercise class that uses the Swiss ball to challenge your muscles in new ways, helping to strengthen and build up the "core" muscles in the body, such as abdominals, back, buttocks & thighs, which in turn stabilises and plays a major role in maintaining good posture. Buy a book of 15 tickets and get two free sessions. These tickets can only be used for 1 hour long fitness classes, and may not be used as part payment for a longer class. Each ticket must be produced at reception with your valid membership card before each class. Price per book:
